Restructuring and reindustrialisation
Since its creation, the firm has applied a collaborative approach to the field of restructuring and reindustrialisation, based on the experience of its partners in the restructuring of large industrial groups.
Convinced of the need for consensus in this type of situation, Vaughan Avocats works in conjunction with all parties; auditors, financial auditors, trade unions, colleagues, environmental and industrial auditors. Effective relationships with the public authorities have been developed over the years, specifically with the Comité Interministériel de Restructuration Industrielle (CIRI – Interministerial Committee on Industrial Restructuring), the Ministry for Productive Recovery and elected officials.
The team of lawyers dedicated to this area of expertise plays an active role in seeking out new legal and financial solutions. It covers the main areas of restructuring operations, both in their advisory (support, due diligence, contracts etc.) and litigation aspects. Its defining characteristics derive in part from the firm’s ability to deal with the two components of restructuring and redevelopment jointly and in a complementary fashion: the employment-related component and the company law component (prevention, collective procedures).
