As a partner within Vaughan Avocats’ Human Resources area of expertise, Paul van Deth has developed a practice in providing advice and litigation assistance on company restructuring and reorganisation, collective redundancies and staff representation for a client base made up of French and foreign companies. Paul also prepares contractual documents associated with the conclusion, performance and termination of managers’ and executive directors’ employment contracts.

He intervenes in various sectors including industry, energy, new technologies, finance, private hospitalisation, music publishing and the consulting sector.

Paul provides the firm’s clients with support and representation in individual, collective and electoral litigation and before the criminal courts.

He regularly works with the firm’s clients to provide inter-company training modules, particularly on the issues of occupational health and psychosocial risks.

The introduction of the Manpower database, required by the loi de sécurisation de l’emploi (Law on Protection of Employment) of 14 June 2013, has given Paul the opportunity – with the assistance of Alcuin, a partner of Vaughan Avocats – to contribute to the design of one of the very first manpower database pieces of software, a tool that is now essential for French companies and their decision-makers.
